Town Hall Set On Land Conservation

A town hall meeting focused on conserving important lands in the
community
will be hosted by Lane County Commissioner Peter Sorenson at 7 p.m.
Tuesday,
Nov. 4 at the Hilyard Community Center in Eugene, 2580 Hilyard St. The
meeting will conclude by 8:30 p.m.

"It's important to have public attention - and that of our policy
makers -
focused on the precious lands in our community," Sorenson said. "We
hope to
explore ways to preserve the beautiful and unique features we all
cherish."

Eugene City Councilors Betty Taylor and Bonny Bettman will also attend,
along with other invited speakers from the community.
